At Adriaan de Smaakmaker, it’s all about flavour. As soon as you step into the small, charming shop, you’ll immediately notice the bottles and jars that fill the space with scent and colour. Products have been made on the premises here since 1995: mustard, jams, chutneys, vinegars, vinaigrettes and mayonnaises. You’ll also find local produce such as honey, apple and pear syrup, wine and beer.
The owners, James and Angeliek, are always helpful and happy to offer personalised advice. Tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll give you tips that perfectly suit your dish, your snack platter or a gift for someone else. That means you never walk out with just anything, but with something that’s just right.
